Job Description
Integrated Behavioral Technologies, Inc. (IBT) is a group of caring individuals whose goal is to provide children and their families with the behavioral therapy services they need to succeed. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves children across the state of Kansas with a focus on rural and low-income areas. IBT is hiring several Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and/or Autism Specialists (AS) throughout the state of Kansas (Northeast KS, Southeast KS, Southwest KS, South-Central Kansas.)
We have both part time and full-time positions (100% FTE) as a Master’s Level Clinician (as an Autism Specialist) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst, or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst for the IBT Home Treatment Program in the designated Kansas areas listed). The IBT HCBS program is designed to provide treatment for children and support for families in their natural environment.
Job Responsibilities (actual percentages may vary based on week/month):
- 20% Create Individualized Treatment Plans: develop treatment plans based on the principles of ABA to address communication, feeding, behavior, adaptive daily living, and social skills and update as necessary
- 20% Create and monitor child’s data: design data collection systems to track and evaluate client progress on treatment plan objectives.
- 15% Consult with senior BCBA on treatment teams for behavior and programming issues: staying in close contact with the BCaBA to identify changes in a child’s behavior and to discuss changes in procedures regarding behavior management and skill acquisition.
- 10% Conducting assessments (e.g. VB-MAPP): sitting with the client and determining whether he/she is able to conduct certain tasks.
- 10% Conducting functional behavior assessments: observing client behavior, interviewing providers and parents regarding client behavior and determining function of behavior.
- 10% Supervise 1:1 discrete trial teaching; observe implementers providing treatment to clients, review implementer’s documentation and data collection and provide feedback as needed.
- 10% Manage behavior intervention plans; create, maintain, and modify function-based behavior
Required Qualifications
- At minimum 1 year (2000 hours) work experience with children with autism using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited University
- 12 months (2000 hours) minimum experience working with children with autism and developing ABA programs
- 12 months minimum experience conducting child observations and assessments
- 12 months minimum experience supervising providers implementing ABA based treatment programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst). Must be licensed in the State of Kansas as a Licensed Behavior Analyst
- At minimum 1 year of training service providers to work with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD)
- Master’s degree in early childhood, education, behavior analysis, psychology, social work, music therapy, language, or a related field
- Experience conducting interventions or research with children with behavior problems
- Experience conducting family trainings on ABA based treatment plans
- 12 months minimum experience working with families in home and/or community-based settings
- Proficiency with Word and/or other word processing programs
- Data analysis experience (SPSS, Excel etc.)
- Strong written and oral communication skills as evidenced in work history
- Strong organizational and planning skills as evidence in work history
